    • StudioE9 was founded by Elizabeth Brown and Paul Johnson in 2004. Formed in an artist's studio, StudioE9 initially provided support for Museum of Modern Art affiliates PS1 and WPS1. Since its inception, StudioE9 has stood for a highly innovative combination of technical and creative thinking.

  • PAUL JOHNSON
    • Co-Founder/CEO - Paul Johnson has experience in the software, broadcast, and internet industries. He has worked for Viacom, TMP (Monster.com), and iVillage. A founding employee of in2 (acquired by TMP) he developed pioneering interactive for clients Microsoft, Disney, abc News, Star Media, and Yahoo. He is the recipient of many industry awards, and has been featured in Wired, the IFC, the New York Times, and Le Monde.

  • ELIZABETH BROWN
    • Co-Founder/Managing Partner - Elizabeth holds degrees from Columbia University in Anthropology and Parsons School of Design. Her methodology of design anthropology has been applied in campaigns for clients including Sony Ericsson, IFC, Morgan Stanley and Heinz. In 2010, she co-founded Choose Haiti, an initiative to bring sustainable jobs to Haiti by harnessing the power social media, branding, design and commerce. Read about it in Fast Company.

  • MARC JOHNSON
    • Director of Technology - Marc Johnson began publishing software professionally at the age of 13. As an engineer and manager at Cisco Systems, Marc’s team shipped software components for a new super-router: the largest and most complex engineering undertaking in Cisco’s history at the time. Previously, Marc pioneered wireless technology for MetroTrak LLC, worked as Project Leader for New Technologies at Target Corporation, and as a Software Engineer for ETA Supercomputer Systems.

    • Director of New Business Development - Ben Reddy's extensive business experience spans from financial services to retail licensing. As an e-commerce pioneer, Ben played a key role in inventing the first secure pre-paid internet cash card. Having a foot in both transaction processing and product, Ben has worked with businesses as varied as Sean "Diddy" Combs to Moody's Investor Services.
